If you were stuck near Metro Center clap your hands

So, who was on that fun, fun, fun half-hour delay on the Red Line this morning? I was, and I read Express cover-to-cover three times. Yay.

Wait until you get your new cell phone. I have metro alerts sent to me by text message. I knew about the 12 (and later 30) minute delay on the red line before I even woke up this morning. Cool, no?

Considering I was on the train following the messed up train (we were stuck between metro center and farragut N), I don't think it would have really made much of a difference.

Metro alerts via text message? How does one get in on this?

BTW, the RSS feed is nifty. Currently viewing (and commenting) with FeedReader Alpha 2.5, which has an interface that looks stunningly like an oldish version of Outlook Express.
