You can take the boy out of New York...
It may not to you, but the picture I found here makes me soooo hungry. Where, oh where, can such a thing be found around these parts?

krupins deli right by the au/tennleytown metro station
it's still not as good as katz's though which by the way delivers via nyctogo.com

Katz's delivery is not the same thing - not by a longshot. If it doesn't come with surly service, it isn't a real pastrami sandwich.

Loebs.
Krupins is ok, bread sucks.
Hoffberg's in Betesda.
There's another good one in Potomac.

I have never experienced a more blatant display of poor customer service and disrespect by an owner of an establishment as I did at Loeb's Deli at 15th and McPherson square. The owner literally pulled the table and chairs from underneath me and two other diners in an unprovoked encounter in their outdoor eating area. If you are looking for decent food and quality customer service, Loeb's Deli is not the place for you. Your patronage is not welcomed there!
