Belated Explanations...

By way of belated explanation, I wanted to introduce our "guest bloggers" for the week, while Randolph is off exploring merry England and I am travelling on business. I'll allow them to post their own introductions, but needless to say, DCSOB will continue to bring you the finest in DC-related postings from both our standard operating team and those bloggers who were kind enough to chip in and take time away from their own blogs to join us.

So, guest bloggers, please feel free to use this space to introduce yourselves. And thanks for the continued support!

I'm Michael, I work in health program and policy research, and am a real, live DC native. No, not the suburbs...D.C.

I usually blog about science (among other things) at The Articulatory Loop

i'm not a DC native. if i were to make a pro/con list (i love those) about DC, the cons would outweigh the pros. but i really like my neighborhood (chevy chase/friendship heights). other things i like about DC include the black cat, the 9:30 club, pharmacy bar and the phillips collection. check out my blog, seeking irony, for non-DC related pop culture and indie rock news and DC/baltimore concert reviews and photos.

oh, and i missed a dash up there. it should be "non-DC-related." i'm also a grammar freak.

Hi there. One of your friendly guest bloggers here. I've lived in the district for almost nine years. I get paid to write proposals for a big, evil corporation. I don't get paid to write about art, travel, music and current events at WeirdCurves.
