More on tourists
Washington Oculus has more on tourists. Instead of just bitching them out, he provides a handy list of "don'ts" for visitors.

All very solid advice, except he forgot the cardinal rule:
Don't drive in DC. You will probably get lost or miss a traffic signal, and you will certainly anger the other drivers. And you will not find a parking space that costs less than $10.
