Terror level alert

As you have noticed on the left side of the page, and perhaps in some local newspapers, the terror alert level has been raised from Black-Eyed Susan to Screwdriver, following the interception of threats to the IMF and World Bank buildings in Foggy Bottom.

We at DCSOB do not expect DHS to lower threat levels to a more girlie level of Blue Lagoon or Appletini until after the election, so drink up.

A common Screwdriver instead of the more challenging vodka/peach schnapps/orange juice/Tang infusion you inflicted upon us at your first Terror Alert party?

(I say "first," because I expect more Terror Alert parties. I don't want to die sober.)

Amanda, I hate to bust your bubble, but there was not a drop of actual orange juice in the Code Orange punch - it was Tang, peach schnapps and grain. Later batches had vodka when I ran out of grain.

I only get worried when they raise the terror alert level to the color of Rush's "Moving Pictures" album.

I could have sworn... then again, I also consumed a full bottle of Boone's Strawberry Hill, along with NM and her roommate, before I really engaged in Scarily Orange Punch-related activities.
