Other people's corrections
In a Sept. 13 post DCeiver said the Cheesecake factory in Clarendon is "like Lauriol Plaza for losers."
The real Lauriol Plaza for losers is Lauriol Plaza. We regret the error.

I don't agree. The people who dine in and cruise out at Lauriol Plaza are most definitely winners. But they are dickheads. :)

I would say that, in local terms they are the winners: they get to come to Adams Morgan, take up precious parking spaces, eat crappy over-priced food, litter all over the place, and then drive drunk back to the suburbs and never have to pay a penny for the upkeep of the city! Sounds like a good deal to me!
