Will Smith never sang a song about this place

On my way back from National after a nice weekend in Miami, I spent a few minutes waiting on a surprisingly full Red Line platform at Gallery Place. What were all these upper-middle-aged frumpy women doing on the Metro at 10:45 on a Sunday night?

Then I saw the programs they were carrying.

Yep, they were on the way back from a Yanni gig.

I don't know why that's hilarious, but I think it is.

I was coming back from New York Sunday night, limped off the Chinatown bus and got on at Gallery Place and encountered that same snarl of people. I was similarly mystified, but not bright enough to look at what was in their hands-- thanks for the explanation! I thought maybe there was just a convention of Public Transportation Enthusiasts in town.
