I think I know who this woman is
A story of pick-up lines, flattery and Jeff with his fancy digital camera, all set to the backdrop of Saturday's bluestate.

I think I was one of the too cool for school hipsters. Dammit, I was tired.

KJ said that Jeff was the best dancer there. She would also like her boobie picture. Were you the DJ with the tie? We were with the guy with a tie who people mistook for you (he was the 21-year-old, really there for Mousetrap).

I had a great time, despite not exactly honouring the first Breast Liberation Day of the spring like I should have been doing (erm, like many of the other ladies there were). Oh well. Does a t-shirt with "BEER" on the chest count for anything?
Thanks for a rockin' good time y'all.

I was the DJ with the tie - you mean to tell me that people confused me with the guy in the short-sleeved shirt with the tie who was going back and forth between bluestate and mousetrap? WTF?

I know he didn't look anything like you, but someone asked him if he was a dj and he assumed it was because of the tie. You did have your sleves rolled up. Watching the people dance at Mousetrap made him laugh and he thought the real dance music was downstairs. Props to bluestate! Really liked your set, btw. (FYI, the supercilious hipsters were in the red room, backstage was strictly old school.)

Well, I'm glad you liked it! Our next gig is DCist's Cinco de Mayo party at Chief Ike's up on Columbia Road. Be there or be sober.

Wait a minute, I was at bluestate on Saturday?

Well, Chris. You were there in body and spirit. Maybe not in mind, though.
