This is why, when my family came for a visit, they got a free primer on "How to visit DC and not make the natives want to kill you."
Of course, in the hour between their arrival and that little primer, my Mom did accost an Italian tourist to take our picture at the Lincoln. But its ok if its tourist-on-tourist accosting, right?
